to the Past Life Memory Bank, and for anyone else who enjoys discussing

e-mail links. People sometimes write to me because they think they
recognize someone here from a past life, but I cannot help them because
I don't keep records of e-mail addresses. So please, use the list to
communicate with one another.

Make the subject PAST LIVES (be sure to do that, or my browser may
think that your letter is junk mail and I will not get it.).
Memories that don't ring true, such
as those with historical inaccuracies gross enough for me to catch,
will
not be posted. Listings that take too long to edit (spelling, grammar,
etc.) cannot be posted because of time constraints. I have also heard
from
too many Anastasias, Cleopatras, Marie Antoinettes, etc. to post
memories
from people who think they were historical figures. I know you're
sincere,
but you can also see my dilemma.

Are all these memories actual past lives?
Perhaps. Some of them
certainly
are, as you can feel the truth in them. The cynic in me tends to doubt
the romantic memories, but that could just be me.
LETTERS
This space is for
letters that don't quite fit into in the Memory Bank. I wish that I
could respond individually to everyone who writes to me, as I once did,
but my M.S. has progressed to a point where this is no longer possible.
I am by no means an expert on reincarnation, but I've certainly learned
a lot about it by reading your letters through the years. What I can
tell you with certainty is that reincarnation is real, that mqany of us
have lived before and will be back again. There are many methods of
learning about your past lives, from meditation to dream work to
hypnosis. Different things work better for different people, so
experiment - but be wary of anything expensive. There are lots of con
artists and exploiters in this world, unfortunatey.
What else . . . final memories often seem to surface
first, especially when a sudden, violent death was involved. Past lives
do sometimes seep into present ones, in both positive and negative
ways. If you feel like something from a past life is holding you back
or affecting you in some other negative way, work on resolving it. Seek
professional help, if need be, from someone legitimate who is wise and
open-minded. Finally, how can you determine whether or not a memory is
"real"? This isn't a science and others will have different opinions,
but here are some things that I have come to rely on:
1. The more detail, the more real the memory is -
especially when senses like smell and touch are included.
2. If you 'remember' yourself being someone famous,
that's likely just a dream or fantasy.
3. Same as above if the memory is very romantic, or
involves someone you have strong feeligs for or about in this life. I
don't believe in all that Soul Mate stuff, sorry.

I have had this question since I began studying
Wicca and the craft. And I was hoping maybe you could give me some
insight. I can feel that I am an old soul, that I have been on this
earth more than one time, however I'm not sure in what forms. But the
question that has been bothering me the most is since I was young I've
been able to sense and see spirits and the only thing that ever seemed
to comfort me was my dragons. Since then I've had dragon figurines and
pendants and I've always felt drawn to the image and stature of a
dragon. What could that mean in aspect to who I am and where I may have

Hi, my life is not in the past but a future
reincarnation. Whether or not this is going to happen still I can't be
sure, as I think our future lives change according to our actions in
this one. This was at the start of 2009 that I had this crazy moment of
prophecy whilst in the shower. LOL. I believe that this life will
happen if I continue on the path I was on at that stage.
Anyways, in this sudden moment of knowledge. I saw
myself surrounded by green, but the green wasn't rolling fields, but
gardens. I looked around me and there were many buildings in a long
street. The houses looked modern (circa 2009) some were older some
looked way newer. The buildings were mainly red like terracotta, (not
sure of spelling) and there were many large trees lining the street.
Even though the area where I live now is nothing like this landscape I
felt that I liked it quite a lot. I felt comfortable. I saw then
myself. I was wearing dark blue (which automatically reminded me of my
dad’s work clothes. Dairy farm.) Dark blue is one of my least
favorite colours. It was like a full pants and shirt that were this
dark blue. I was holding a girl of about 7 in my arms and swinging her
around, in our front yard. I had dark black hair - in this life it’s
white blonde. I was tan - in this life I’m white. We share one thing in
common, we're both guys. The next thing I saw was this massive mirror,
like seriously huge, but it was directed at the sky (by huge i mean
like 500 meters wide) and I knew exactly what it was, its where I
worked at. It was up in the sky above the centre of the city. I knew my
career, too. I was a solar technician, and the mirror was a solar
plant. The only other things I knew were my last name (Mathews) and
where this was - it was in Colorado, it resembles boulder heaps. I’m
actually Australian, I looked up colorado and this picture of a green
city came up it was boulder and i was like wow. The year was the last
thing I knew, it was somewhere in the 2110s. I was about 30 in my next
reincarnation at the time of this viewing. In this life i'm born in
1994.
I find it so odd that im like a manual worker in
this next life, I hate manual work. I mean a technician - - what
was I thinking, lol. Anyways, hope you found it interesting. I surely
did.

Hello and wow. I found your site by accident, was
searching for winning lotto numbers and voila.
I have a glimpse of a memory of being offered and
shown 3 choices of life, (I don't remember the examples but I do
remember the risks involved with each choice) the first life, was a
very good life of wealth & happiness, and chances would be slim
that I would come to my senses about what it would take to return home
safely). The second choice would be a combination of good things and
not so good things with about a 50/50 chance of returning home safely.
The 3rd choice was not a very happy life but a surefire way of
returning home. I don't remember actually choosing but I have a pretty
good idea of what I chose. I'm 100% sure I'll be ok after this
life. Just thought I would share. Lol. Weird little thing

All I remember is suddenly being in a place of utter
bliss, it felt good to be there, like I belonged, then made to go into
a tube and I remember saying to myself, "I don't want to do this
again". Please let me know if others have experienced the same.

recall in the current life. As you progress in a soul you don't
recall all of them. Only the one subsequent to this current life.
I understand to have these visions at the age
when passed through the last life is when you start to recall the last

Eileen Holland, I got your book The Wicca Handbook on a whim
because it intrigued me when I bumped into it in the book store. It
continues to intrigue me every time I open it. I would like to
contribute a good portion of my newfound self-acceptance on the guided
meditation your book has helped me with over the past year. And in the
inner journey it has lead me on. It has helped me to find myself and
discover along the way that I do actually love myself. After all the
self-torture I put myself through it was a welcome relief. The best
part of your book to me was that you did not try to shove anything down
my throat everyone is individual and open to your own interpretation
unlike any religion I have researched, which I had done quite a bit of
over the past few years. I wanted to thank you personally even if you
do not read this email I feel like you are someone with a wise old soul
and you have unknowingly guided and helped me more than I can even say.
I have a few questions that if you have the time to
answer I would really appreciate it. First, ever since I was a little
girl I have always thought that I would die young and always in a car
accident. It has never worried me, it just seemed natural and fitting.
However I am almost 19, which is longer than I excepted to live. So
this leads me to think that maybe it was a memory of a death that has
already happened to me in a past life. But memories of past lives
confuse me, simply because memories are located in our brains and are
truly a physical aspect. I believe a soul can be reborn but I can not
believe that any part of the physical body would come with it. How do
you feel past live memories are stored? I am willing to believe it is
just my imagination but I respect your opinion and thought you could
help me with this.
Also I received an amulet as a present awhile ago. I
believe I was told it is an Egyptian symbol, but I can not find it on
the internet anywhere and no one can tell me what it means. I have
attached a picture of it, if you could point me in the right direction
or tell me what it means I would appreciate it very much.

I'm not an expert, but I think of
reincarnation as cosmic recycling. Here's my opinion, but remember that
it's an opinion and others have different views. The physical body is
not a part of it, except that some people seem to retain certain
things, like injuries, with them as baggage. The purpose of
reincarnation is to work on our karma, to improve ourselves, as we
jourey through our lifetimes. Carrying baggage slows us down, so it's
important to learn whatever we need to learn and release the rest.
"Where thoughts go, energy flows." Yes, you might have died in a car
accident in a previous life. Buckle up, and don't dwell on it.
The symbol on your amulet it looks like part of the bottom of the Eye
of Horus symbol - also called the wadjet or wedjat. It's beautiful. I'm
not an expert on this either so I checked with my husband, who is from
Egypt, and he agrees. - Eileen

hey, always been interested in past live memories. i'm a
classical guitarist that has a masters degree in prac and historical
classical guitar.
when i play i can remember intricate sections of music based on color
association. that's this life.
so i have doubts when it comes to images or strong
feelings i have of eras gone. but i have alway had some interesting
occurances in my life that i'm not sure what they mean. when i saw your
site i browsed and found some similarities between my past life stuff
and other peoples. are there some periods of time where the impressions
are particulary strong, because i can't explain why i have much of the
same types of magnatism to certain eras as many do. because there are
alot of people around, now and back then, but alot of it overlaps,
interms of cultures eras and society type scenarios.are we all
reincarnated, or do some of the energys from certain eras, serve to
guide us in this time. i.e it would be a hap hazard world if only the
people living were incharge of the running of society. therefore it's
probibly reasonable to assume that past lessons learnt would serve to
help hummanity. this is my only answer to my obsession to the past in
terms of chance third party occurance, and also subjective
interpretations.
so in summuray: is it us that are reincarnated, or
do more than one channel the energy of those who have gone before us?
or sceptically, do we all just get it from the media?

Hi, I found your website, and I am thankful for
providing this service. If you're not busy I would be grateful if you
can read my story regarding my slight curiosity concerning my past
life. Some background about me might help. I'm 17, female, Japanese. I
was born in Tokyo and moved to Bali, Indonesia when I was 4. I've
always loved the beautiful natural environments and wildlife here,
especially the birds.
Here's my story. I didn't believe in reincarnations,
until about a week ago when something clicked in my head and I
remembered that I've always had images of Earth destruction since I was
very little. I don't even know when I began seeing those images and
having sad feelings about the Earth, but I've always loved our planet
and grieved about humans destroying it gradually. These feelings were
especially strong when I was around 9 to 13 years old, I cried so much
every night seeing and thinking about forests on fire, oil from tanks
killing seabirds, poachers shooting tigers, endangered birds being
trapped for illegal trade . . . everything. I know that our species is
destructive only because we're sophisticated and successful as a
species, so I don't blame humans . . . But I've always been sad about
it.
Yes, the other thing that makes me think I had
a past life is that I'm a generally sad person. I assumed that I was
simply born as a person who is almost constantly feeling blue. I DO
have times when I'm content or hyper, but I am always conscious of the
mysterious and melancholy feelings somewhere inside. I keep thinking,
maybe I am a reincarnation of somebody quiet and insignificant who had
something to do with the Earth, and had a tragic life. I know it won't
really affect my current life, but I still wish to know what kind of
person I really was, and when I had been alive. One thing I'm pretty
sure about: I wasn't of any historically significant figure.
